NOA urges electorate against vote selling and use of political logo items during voting

National Orientation Agency (NOA) has cautioned the electorate against selling their votes, using political logo items and using smartphones at polling units during voting.

Mrs. Keneng Pam-Hworo, the Plateau State Coordinator of NOA, gave this advice during a one-day sensitization campaign in Jos aimed at creating awareness for the forthcoming elections and ensuring that the masses are well-informed to exercise their civic responsibility.

According to Pam-Hworo, voting starts at 8:30 am and ends at 2:30 pm each day of the election, and the public should thumbprint in the middle of the provided box and avoid signing on the ballot paper to avoid invalidating their votes.

Pam-Hworo urged the public to peacefully exercise their civic duty and warned those intending to cause violence or chaos at polling units to refrain from such acts, as violators would face the full wrath of the law.

The sensitization campaign team visited various locations, including Terminus, Old Bukuru Park, Masalacin Jumaa, Gada-Biu, Polo, and Tudun Wada.
