Man allegedly murders wife after forcing her to quit job

A man, Ikechukwu Isaac, is currently on the run after allegedly strangling his wife, Christianah Chidi, to death in Ogbese, Owo, Ondo State.
It was gathered that the incident occured on October 17,2020.
Sources said Isaac forced his wife, who was a nurse, to resign her job and become a full time housewife.
“They have four kids together but he doesn’t take care of his responsibilities. She used to work at a hospital but had to resign because of him.
“He has always being violent towards until he strangled her to death and ran away leaving the kids behind,” the source said.
It was learnt that the police has launched a manhunt for the suspect.
